Hotel guest acquisition costs are way out proportion to other industries.  We need to work hard at solving this.  The good news is that there have been recent studies done which show certain travelers being less likely to utilize OTA's.  Granted, there are other factors impacting the cost, but OTA represents a large portion of the expense.
