Travel Global, Think Local is a new documentary travel series which tells powerful stories of extraordinary people in incredible places. The series is an innovative and engaging format of travel programming which documents compelling community projects through dramatic storytelling. The series kicks off in Northern Queensland, Australia to document the challenges faced by the Bama - a community of Australian Aboriginals who are struggling to provide meaningful local employment and sustain their traditions and culture. The purpose of this episode is to empower their community, strengthen the local economy, uphold their values and beliefs, and ultimately help sustain future generations.
