The Australasian cruise market has never looked better, according to cruise industry experts speaking at the recent Cruise3sixty conference. According to CLIA's chairman, Australasia is the largest shared gainer of cruising in the world, with 12% of the world's cruising. The incredible growth in cruising has been inspired by China and Australia, with 80% of Australia's cruising coming out of Brisbane and Sydney. Princess Cruises' VP for Australia and New Zealand has announced that both year-round and seasonal fleets in the company will soon move to onboard Australian currency due to the strength of the Australian market.
