Built in the early 1900's, Alexander's Guesthouse in Key West Florida was lovingly restored and opened as a resort in 1981. The owners took great care to insure that the unique characteristics of the original structures were maintained while integrating all the modern conveniences that a savvy traveler expects. Many rooms have private verandas or decks. Every morning there's a Continental breakfast and in the evening cocktails are served poolside.
The grounds are secluded with sun decks on three levels. The lush tropical pool is accented with hibiscus and bougainvillea. Located on Fleming Street in the heart of historic district, Old Town. Out and About magazine gave Alexander's their Editors Choice Award seven years in a row.
