The International LGBTQ+ Travel Association will bring its 38th Annual Global Convention to Milan, 26-29 October 2022. The convention, the premier educational and networking event for LGBTQ+ tourism, will be the association’s first European convention since Madrid in 2014. The event was originally set for 2020, but had to be rescheduled due to the pandemic.

Italy becomes the 10th country in the organization’s 35-year history to host the conference, the premier LGBTQ educational and networking event for the tourism industry - The International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association officially announced today that Milan was chosen as the host city for its 37th Annual Global Convention in 2020. This will be a first for Italy, and will mark the event’s return to Europe for the first time since 2014.

The International LGBTQ+ Travel Association has provided support to its members through weekly Google Meet conversations for the past month, offering as many as 12 different group calls each Thursday. The IGLTA Members Connect Series targets various regions and travel business types (travel advisors, tour operators, CVBs, media) and is offered in English, Spanish and Portuguese. On 7 May, the organization will feature Milan, Italy, which would have been hosting IGLTA’s 37th Annual Global Convention this week.
