The "Dreamgirls" star agreed to perform on Atlantis Cruises after canceling on the inauguration.

Days after canceling on Donald Trump's inauguration, singer Jennifer Holliday accepted an invitation to headline an LGBT cruise to the Caribbean.

The Dreamgirls star serenaded passengers on Atlantis's Allure of the Seas this week. The charter company said it contacted Holliday right after she bowed out of Trump's big day.

Those onboard harbored no ill will over the controversy—TMZ reports Jennifer got a standing ovation for her first performance. "I just want to say, my husband's in love with you," one passenger told the singer, who wisely didn't bring up Trump or the inauguration.

In an open letter addressed to “my beloved LGBT community, Holliday confessed she was “uneducated on the issues.”

“I was honestly just thinking that I wanted my voice to be a healing and unifying force for hope through music to help our deeply polarized country,” she wrote.

“Regretfully, I did not take into consideration that my performing for the concert would actually instead be taken as a political act against my own personal beliefs and be mistaken for support of Donald Trump and Mike Pence.”
