Palm Springs is celebrated for Greater Palm Springs Pride, the world famous Pride Weekend Festival and the Gay Pride Parade 30 years in the making. Clubs and bars in Palm Springs have become havens, some solely geared toward those in the LGBT community, others open to everyone of every sexuality. Each establishment cannot be more different, ranging from a typical local bar feel, to a country bar, to a full blown leather fetish bar. There is something for everyone, and that’s what Palm Springs is all about.

Palm Springs is one of those destinations that you never get tired of. I’m not sure if it’s the landscape, or the abundance of over-the-top gayness that makes the city truly magical. On my most recent visit to the desert gay mecca, I attended Palm Springs Pride, an event headlined this year by TLC and Kristine W. This year was the largest pride celebration in the city’s history. I even had the opportunity to meet Palm Springs Mayor Robert Moon.
